Children

We celebrate that children are a gift from God. We have a commitment to our children and those in our community to assist in their spiritual, physical and emotional growth. The following are ministries to and with our children:

Acolytes:

Children in 2nd Grade and older are invited to be an acolyte. As an acolyte they will assist in worship by lighting candles, assisting with the sacraments of baptism and communion, assisting with Children’s Moments and other roles. For information on becoming an acolyte, please contact Pat Brown through the church office or church email.

3rd through 5th Grade Sunday afternoon Children’s Ministry

This ministry meets every Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Kids learn to use their Bibles and explore God’s message for them. They also are involved with mission activities and fun and fellowship. Dinner is served every Sunday evening. Nursery

We have a well staffed nursery that is available during every worship service and also for other church activities by request.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer we have a VBS. This year our VBS will be from June 14-18; 6 pm - 9 pm. There is something for all ages as this year we include an adult study on the popular book, The Shack.

Children’s Church

After the Children’s Moments in worship, our children, through 1st grade are invited to participate in Children’s Church, or are always welcome to stay with their parents in worship if desired.
